ExponentialDistributionRandom Method (Double, Int32, Double, Random)

Generates a random vector of observations from the Exponential distribution with the given parameters.

lambda: Type: SystemDouble
The rate parameter lambda.
samples: Type: SystemInt32
The number of samples to generate.
result: Type: SystemDouble
The location where to store the samples.

The random number generator to use as a source of randomness. Default is to use Random.

Type: Double
An array of double values sampled from the specified Exponential distribution.
