MatrixDivide Method (Double, Double, Boolean)

Divides two matrices by multiplying A by the inverse of B.

Parameters

a
Type: SystemDouble
The first matrix.
b
Type: SystemDouble
The second matrix (which will be inverted).
leastSquares (Optional)
Type: SystemBoolean
True to produce a solution even if the b is singular; false otherwise. Default is false.

Return Value

Type: Double
The result from the division AB^-1 of the given matrices.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type . When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
