Gets the number of columns in a jagged matrix.

Parameters

matrix
Type: T
The matrix whose number of columns must be computed.
max (Optional)
Type: SystemBoolean
Whether to compute the maximum length across all rows (because rows can have different lengths in jagged matrices). Default is false.

Type Parameters

T
The type of the elements in the matrix.

Return Value

Type: Int32
The number of columns in the matrix.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type . When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
